Original Acoustic Folk Rock

The Angels Sang, the first release from Archer's Meadow is currently receiving airplay on many radio stations on the East Coast . Twelve original songs from the brilliant mind of Chessie . Lyrics full of imagery and emotion presented in a traditional vein with a 90's twist . Music without a net .
To...Archer's Meadow continues to grow musically with their second release . Ten more original works from Chessie, as well as two songs that the MeadowHeads love the most: Gershwins- Summertime and Tom Paxtons- Whose Garden Was This . Patty Costis was kind enough to engineer this project for us, as well as lending her voice for backing vocals on Seashell . Patty also arranged the strings on Thank You and Forgotten People.

(The first review of To...)
_To..._ by Archer’s Meadow. Catzeye Records, 1999. Total playing time 41:23 CD.
This album offers a delightful blend of folk and funk. Here you’ll find songs funny and sad, light and dark. My favorites include "Little Sister" (4:02), "Troubador" (3:34), and "Forgotten People" (4:40). Clear, resonant vocals stand out against a skillful background of strings and sound effects. Featured instruments include 6-string and 12-string guitars, mandolin, and assorted percussion.
_To..._ is a fine addition to any music collection. Highly recommended.
