About SBAThe SBA is a draft league, consisting of 29 teams and members. The league will mirror the NBA as far as its franchise names go, but from there, NOBODY knows. The SBA is the newest league affiliate with the Internet Web family of computer leagues. Some of the SBA members are currently in other leagues, while many are new to the group. The group aims to provide a continuous source of members to all leagues within, as the three groups share a common theme - POSITIVE FUN! The SBA uses the Strat-O-Matic Computer Basketball game (latest version) as its "court", as most agree (here anyways), that it is the best basketball simulation on the market today (even though it is in DOS). The SBA members share a diversity in knowledge of basketball, Strat-O-Matic Basketball, Internet sports leagues, and lifestyles in general. The SBA Commissioner is Doug Stang, taking over those duties in May of 2002 from the league's interim Commissioner Tony Dissibbio who had taken over for original founder Tom Gantert. You can e-mail Doug directly if you have any questions about the league or are interested in joining. |
